Through intelligent technology this feature allowed customers with emergency jobs to call a universal number and be directly connected to the closest available business on the Onelfare platform. Businesses on the Oneflare App would receive a call through the app Working with the Oneflare team we identified several key objectives for this project to be successful: Increase the business answer rate Reduce anxiety over cost per lead Increase the visibility of the leads Increase customer awareness Improve customer call experience</image:caption>

      <image:caption>With the key objectives in mind, we set out to better understand the product feature as it stood as well as the mindset of both customers and businesses experiencing this process as if for the first time. As this feature was released silently there were several pain points from both customers and businesses, most issues raised were down to a lack of transparency and trust. The insights gathered from interviews allowed us to understand the frustrations and areas of opportunity. 3 important considerations for this project were: 1. Language: Simplifying the internal team’s knowledge of how this sophisticated matching system worked into terminology customers and businesses could easily understand, trust and rely on. 2. Communication/education Providing more clarity around how this product worked for both customers and business was integral to the success of this product. For customers, it was important to provide information upfront so we refined the voice-over messages and designed bespoke landing pages to add context and clarity. For businesses, it was important to begin to promote this product to a sub-set of categories and educating them on how to make the most of this new tool. We believed utilising the empty states within the app and providing a more succinct feature onboarding experience would give them a greater understanding of how to make the most out of this product offering. 3. Transparency It was essential to provide businesses visibility of the call leads they had received and the value exchange that was happening by purchasing this product. Implementing a simplistic call log utilising language, patterns and behaviours businesses were familiar with were important in gaining trust and maintaining reliability. We also implemented data insights into the call settings to allow businesses with plans to track their usage and upgrade when necessary. This gave businesses a way to treat leads through calls similarly to standard job leads on the platform. Through implementing new landing pages for customers and developing essential features within the business app to allow them to manage these new versions of leads we were able to successfully impact each of the key objectives and improve the overall experience for this new connection model.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>We refreshed the existing brand identity to visually capture a bold presence and incorporated elements of fun and quirkiness to bring personality, trustworthiness, and cohesion across the brand. The simple identity design mixes modern typography, stylised shapes with organic illustrations to inject fun and personality across the brand, website, and collateral to create a more complete customer experience. The illustrations along with updates in the brand’s tone of voice invite a level of humanisation, allowing customers to feel understood and develop a level of confidence in UrbanYou as the leader in the market. After a thorough review of the existing customer experience, product, and website a detailed analysis of existing functionality we provided a detailed list of recommendations that could be implemented across the new website design as well as the product to dramatically improve the customer experience and conversion rate of the service landing pages. Having completed the brand refresh we set up redesigning the website — introducing brand consistency, minimalistic user-friendly designs, and information that allowed customers to better understand the service offering and acquire a level of trust before booking a service. Since working with UrbanYou on the relaunch of their brand and website, we have seen an increased conversion of jobs and developed higher customer retention although not all UX considerations have been implemented so far.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Upon completing a heuristic review of competitors in the industry and key features that were required from the business we developed a sitemap that provided strategic direction forward for the project. As the previous website had poor navigation and ample hidden content we ensured all relevant information for passengers, businesses, and drivers was easily accessible, thus creating a more user-friendly solution. Taking a broad approach from the beginning we identified the need to create a modular design for the website to allow for key information to be shown in multiple places across the site in a consistent format. This approach was integral to future-proofing the site and allowing for consistency in visual style and content across the site from launch and well into the future. The overall aesthetic and implementation of a new visual style to the website was part of the long term strategy to bring cohesion across all touchpoints – the app, marketing, website. A refreshed brand identity allowed for ample white space combined with curved edges, blocked content, illustration, and a mixture of monotone and non-monotone photography to work together to produce an on-trend website that captured the brand’s personality and created more meaningful connections with the target market. We took a mobile-first approach during the design phase as this was an important customer journey to cater for. As most traffic would transition onto the website through to the apps via mobile devices, a seamless user experience was essential for high conversion rates. Our modular design also made this easier to implement a high-quality mobile experience.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>With a hunger to make an incredible impact amongst their community, we set out to discover what it was that made the four co-founders so passionate about the movement they envisioned for the future. Being a strong purpose-led company we tailored our services to the needs of this digital business by kick-starting their next phase with a clear brand strategy, consistent and cohesive identity as well as digital design elements that would allow them to continue to deliver insightful information without being held back by design. With a clear understanding of the brand personality, target audience, and the co-founders’ visual inspiration we let our creative juices flow – creating mood boards, brand concepts, and logo options that captured the true essence of the primary brand and sub-brands. Inspired by the phases of the moon, the secondary logos reflect the emotional states and meaning behind the moon phases as well as the personal journey through The Soul-full Collective stages. Inspired by the transitioning colours of the sky at dusk and natural elements, the colour palette we created captures a friendly and inviting character. The pastel peach, pink and blue tones combine to create positive energy filled with encouragement, inclusivity, and femininity that inspires a vibrant yet relaxed approach towards a holistic and nourishing life.  Once we had finalised the brand identity we worked with the co-founders to develop a social media strategy as well as several easy-to-use Canva templates for social media platforms and Ebooks. The templates allow the team to create and expand on their own content whilst also providing a clear visual direction of how to best implement the new identity as the team grows.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Through our brand strategy process, we set out to gain clarity and alignment on the brand’s core purpose. Alongside internal stakeholders, we evaluated the current brand and products concerning how they resonated with customers and then took the time to project into the future how we envisioned people responding to this new identity. We unveiled essential brand traits that gave clear direction and criteria to reflect on during the name development phase. Our research and workshop synthesis identified an opportunity space that would differentiate from competitors and had the ability to create instant confidence and trust with customers and businesses. By leveraging a more desirable emotional state and repositioning the brand as the solution for customers to find ‘An expert for every task’ and ‘Where work finds you’ as a business we were able to shift the focus away from anxiety-driven emotional states (I need to find a plumber to fix this quickly or I need to find more work) and form more meaningful and positive connections. This approach required a high level of confidence in delivery to create a greater level of trust and brand recall down the line. To emit such confidence, we developed a strong brand identity consisting of a bold wordmark and colour palette supported by the punchy and relatable language. We helped share the vision of the future for this brand through responsive website design and how the existing product along with future features could seamlessly transition. Whilst still in the early stages of implementation, the future for Sorted has been set up to provide a memorable and consistent customer experience that lends itself to being considered as part of the initial consideration set in times where businesses and customers require the services offered.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Holly Typeface - The strategy</image:title>
      <image:caption>The design of ‘Holly’ draws inspiration from Bodoni and Didot, having strong contrast in stroke weight whilst combining it with organic hand-drawn characteristics. This combination has seen the emergence of a hybrid typeface that in some ways is a structured serif yet has many features that are more common in hand lettering and display fonts. The contrast has been pulled back slightly, thickening the hairline stroke to ensure it is more legible. The typeface is also characterised by its variations of serifs where letters, depending on their structure, are finished with a curved serif that is squared-off or rounded bell-like serifs that add a fun personality to the typeface. We specifically created Holly to have no straight edges and to always have an element of movement in each character to keep consistent throughout and to make sure each character was individually beautiful. The addition of the bell-like serifs &amp; curves began to give it fun &amp; festive personality which reminded us of Christmas. Although Holly is a very heavy typeface in terms of the contrast within the characters it comes across as light and fun due to the little imperfections and rounded curves and edges that you don’t see in Didot and Bodoni. This organic feel brings life to Holly and allows it to be used on occasions of celebrations whether it be baby showers, birthdays or the creatives’ favourite, Christmas. These festive seasons bring a lot of joy to people lives and that is what this typeface is all about no matter what time of year.</image:caption>
